Rockford is situated on 27 acres of the Smith- Manning ante-bellum estate located one and one-half miles from the Marietta Square off Manning Road. Rockford will begin construction soon. This community will be divided into two sections, Rockford Commons and Rockford Township. The eastern tract, Rockford Commons, is being developed by Waterford Homes and will consist of 31 Patio homes priced from the $450’s, all homes feature rear entry garages. The western tract, Rockford Township, which surrounds the pre-civil war Smith-Manning House, will be divided into 60 lots and will be developed by John Elliott. Homes in the Township begin in the $600s, many with full basements. Both sections will be gated and will share a pool & cabana.
