Recently, the Harry Norman, Realtors® Sandy Springs office prepared and served a home-cooked Easter dinner for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald house in Atlanta.
At the Ronald McDonald House, families can enjoy many of the comforts of home, receive nutritious meals provided by volunteers, and obtain emotional support through contact with other families, all while their child is receiving treatment at one of the local children’s hospitals.
No family is turned away and many stay at the house for weeks and sometimes months at a time.
“What a wonderful place for children and their families to escape the hospital atmosphere to a homelike setting with people who care and understand. You leave that house with far more than you ever brought,” said Helen Lynch, Senior Vice President/Managing Broker of the Harry Norman, Realtors® Sandy Springs office.
Agents and staff from the Sandy Springs office presented their tastiest recipes for a sumptuous affair for all. An Easter feast of ham, delectable side dishes and festively decorated cupcakes by Barbara Malm, sales associate in the Sandy Springs office, united all of the families for a time of fellowship and fun. In addition to a monetary donation, the Sandy Spring Office of Harry Norman, Realtors has committed to another year of preparing and serving homemade meals each quarter and has already begun planning the dinner menu for the next visit.
