YRC Presents Make-A-Wish with $12,000 Check

In December 2007, the Young Realtors® Council presented a check for $12,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The YRCs held a Bowl-A-Thon to help raise the money. The $12,000 raised went to grant a wish for each of two very deserving children. Caroline, who suffers with Arthrogryposis - a rare congenital disease that causes joint contractures, went to Disney World to meet her heroine Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Azikewea, a fun loving seven-year old with a rare severe heart disorder called Kawasaki Disease, loves the outdoors and was granted his wish to visit the Grand Canyon.

The YRC's wish to thank everyone for making two deserving children's dreams come true.

YRC Make-A-Wish "Stories of Light" Wish-A- Thon! (2007)

On Saturday, December 15th, 2007 the Young Realtors® Council attended the 2007 Wish-A-Thon for the Make- A-Wish Foundation at Atlantic Station. The event was broadcast on Smooth Jazz 107.5 WJZZ. HNR was recognized as one of the biggest sponsors of this year's event.

2007 Bowl-A-Thon

Thursday, November 8th the Young Realtors® Council gathered for its second annual Bowl-A-Thon benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. More than 200 people came to bowl or support their favorite team. The cause raised more than $12,000 and will be able to fulfill two wishes of deserving children.

® Makes Wishes Come True in 2006

The Young Realtors® Council of Harry Norman, Realtors® raised $10,000 through holiday donations, an online donation website and a bowl-a-thon to be Wish Friend Sponsors of the Stories of Light 2006 Wish-A-Thon. Harry Norman, Realtors® Family of Services Companies – Academy Financial Services, HN Insurance Services and Heritage Title Services supported the effort by providing bowl-a-thon participants with two games and bowling shoes.
