No, you do not need to have obtained your license prior to beginning a discussion about joining our firm. We’re more than happy to discuss the licensing process and how to begin a successful career in real estate with you.
While our interview process varies slightly based on sales office, you can expect to have at least one interview with your selected office’s Broker to discuss your career goals and ensure Harry Norman, REALTORS® is the right fit for you.
After an intial telephone interview, qualified applicants will be asked to interview in person with the appropriate supervisor.

Salesperson candidates must take a 75-hour pre-license course, which can be found online or in-class. Harry Norman, REALTORS® School of Real Estate offers a scholarship for in-class study, and we also offer a $50 discount for the resident in-class course at the Georgia Institute of Real Estate.
Following course completion, candidates must take and pass a state exam.To obtain a Georgia Associate Broker’s license, candidates must be a licensed salesperson for a minimum of three years. They must also complete the 60-hour pre-license course and pass the state Broker exam.
Georgia requires new licensees complete the first year, 25-hour post-license course. Harry Norman, REALTORS® offers a proprietary post license course for our sales associates.
After your first year, licensees must earn 36 hours of continuing education credits every four years. Harry Norman, REALTORS® offers free continuing education courses thoughout the year. Licenses renew every four years on the last day of the licensee’s birth month.
